Effective October 16, 2026 — when refunds apply on AnyState Carman, where the money goes, and how long it takes.
You top up your Carman wallet from your payment method. When you book a mechanic, the exact order total (quote + service fee) is reserved from your wallet — not paid out to anyone. The mechanic is only paid after you confirm the work is complete. This reservation model is what makes refunds straightforward.
You cancel before work begins. The full reserved amount — including the service fee — returns to your wallet, no questions asked.
The mechanic cancels or never starts. Full refund of the reserved amount to your wallet, including the service fee.
The work is not done or is deficient. Raise a dispute before confirming. If the dispute is resolved in your favor (fully or partially), the corresponding amount returns to your wallet. Our decision is based on chat history, photos and order details from both sides.
Overcharge or double reservation. If a technical error reserves or charges the wrong amount, contact support and we will correct it in full.
You confirmed the work. Confirmation is final — it releases the reserved amount and triggers your mechanic's payout.
Dispute resolved for the mechanic. If our review finds the work was performed as agreed, the reserved amount is released to the mechanic.
Prohibited or fraudulent use. Refunds may be denied for abuse of the dispute system, chargeback fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.
Order refunds go to your Carman wallet balance first — instantly, ready to spend on your next repair. From there you can either keep it in the wallet or withdraw back to your original payment card from the Wallet screen at any time.
Refunds are issued in the amount AnyState Carman actually received for the original payment. All amounts in Carman are exclusive of taxes, and third-party card processing, bank and payment-network fees are not covered by us. If our payment provider deducted a non-refundable transaction fee, tax or charge when your original payment was processed, that portion is not included in the refund and Carman does not reimburse it.
When funds are returned to your card or bank, your bank, card issuer or payment network may apply its own processing fees, charges or deductions. AnyState Carman is not responsible for any such third-party deductions — the amount that finally reaches your account may be lower than the amount we sent, and we will not compensate the difference.
Carman charges no cancellation fee and no fee of its own for issuing a refund; the platform service fee for a refunded order is included in the wallet refund. However:
If you paid a top-up by card and want the entire balance returned rather than keeping funds in the wallet, request a withdrawal to card from the Wallet screen or via support — balance withdrawals follow the 1–3 business day timeline above.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank — most issues are resolved within 48 hours. Chargebacks filed without contacting support may result in account suspension while we investigate, per our Terms of Service.
We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date on this page. Refunds are also governed by Section 6 of our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@anystate.online.
